7. Remove the softened template from hot water using a hemostat.

8. Use the hemostat to transfer template directly over the secured guide pin. Then manually adapt the softened base to the adjacent teeth of the edentulous ridge.

9. Allow template to cool down until it turns opaque and hard.

10. Remove template from the cast and cold sterilize it in an appropriate disinfectant (do not autoclave).

11. Pre-op photo of patient missing tooth #29.

12. Place the template into the oral cavity and verify for stability & retention. Take a pre-op radiograph if desired.
